That's wonderful Kevin! Thank you for your service. I'm sure you are missed. President Peterson and his presidency will be leaving this month. We are sad to see them leave, but I know that our new Mission President will be great too! Best of luck to you. Thank you for posting your comment.
Hey Sister B. I got my call to serve at the Gilbert Seminary Building and the Mesa Tri-Center beginning next month. I will begin serving there for a year. Serving away from home from Mesa to Utah wasn't the best fit for me to serve successfully with my aunts and uncles and with Elder Jeff Call. I got homesick in Utah and was afraid about breaking mission rules and getting sent home early. So I decided to get an honorable release this year. Some young elders had to come home early for medical reasons, stress, or other health considerations. The senior missionaries and some of the other young elders I served with don't know me very well. Its best I can serve my mission in Mesa instead of Utah.
Yeah I heard there is a new mission president in the family history mission. His name is President H. Ross Workman. I have never met him. That is when I left before he came in July 2013. Maybe he might be working there in 2 years just like President Peterson served in July 2011 to July 2013. I think President Workman will be serving in July 2013 to July 2015.
