“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”  Did you think that was just a folk rock song released by The Byrds back in 1965? (It's also popularly known as Turn! Turn! Turn!) This biblical poetry is found in Ecclesiastes 3:1.

Yes, to everything there is a season, and right now it is tulip season! I didn't have to go to Holland to find the blooming bulbs this year. A little bit of Holland came to me!  I was even able to enjoy fresh Stroopwafels! Prachtig!  

These pictures were taken at the gardens in Thanksgiving Point. We spent the entire day there after completing a 5K Run/Walk. (See 5K Walk blog entry)  I will share a little more about "purpose under heaven" in the next entry.  It will give you a better idea of what's been happening.  For now, take a virtual walk with me, and delight in the spectacular Spring flowers!
