So much to do, so little time!

Is this the way you feel at times?  Well, me too!  I look at my calendar and wonder where June went.  It is hard to believe that 1/3 of this mission is complete!  I hope I have done some good during my time here.  In the scriptures it says:

"Men (and women) should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness; for the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves."

D&C 58:27-28 The Doctrine and Covenants of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

My "anxious engagement" at FamilySearch is to assist in developing Training and Development programs for the Records Division.  I help people learn how to become camera operators, who then go to archives around the world and take digital images of documents. Some of these people are full time employees, but most are volunteers or Records Preservation Missionaries.   After a lengthy process of review analysis, these images become accessible  to everyone on our website, FamilySearch.org.  Yes, the service is free.  Yes, you can create an account for free- and you don't have to have an LDS account.  We believe that finding, preserving, and sharing family history is important, so we provide the means for everyone to do this.
